Candy cane brothers with multicolored mouths. We kept asking Zekie what he wanted for Christmas and every time we'd get the same reply... "Candy canes!"

Caleb decided to wrap himself up as a present. He very thorough...he wraps from the inside out...hence the wrapping paper in his mouth.

Zekie's 3rd Birthday

Zekie decided since it was his birthday he would exercise some artistic license and jazz up his birthday song a little. Don't mind his birthday "cake". The boys had a bit of a stomach bug so I decided to whip up a birthday jello instead :) If you'd like to hire out Zekie for your own birthday performances...let us know!

The First Snow

Zekie was sooooo excited when it snowed! He ran downstairs as quick as his litte legs would take him started exclaiming "Mama! I need my boots!" Luckily I was able to talk him into a coat as well...after that I didn't push it. He was more than happy to run out in his pajamas and took no time making a snowball. Another joyful moment for the Zekes.

Here's Caleb eating his first bite of rice cereal. He did a fabulous job but I'm not quite sure I'm ready to start cleaning up after a 3rd messy boy!

Mr. Smiley

"Look how big I am!" Caleb seems to say in this picture ;) He just had his 4 month doctor's appt. and here's his stats:
Weight: 14 lbs. 9 oz. (50%)
Length: 27 in. (95%)
Head: 41 cm (25%)
He is definitely a social boy and easily smiles for anyone he can make eye contact with. He can also scream with the best of them and I am seriously going to buy ear plugs the next time I go to the store. All in all we love our baby boy and are so happy with his daily progress.

Preschool Pride

Zekie LOVES preschool! Today they got to make Fruit Loop necklaces and of course the second we got home he requested that I take it off him so he could chomp it up. Here he is infront of our refridgerator that is proudly plastered with all his preschool papers of joy. Isaac and the neighbor boy Sam wanted to be in the picture too...so here they all are, happily enjoying an afternoon filled will trampoline jumping, grilled cheese sandwich and grapes lunch eating, Thomas the tank engine watching, and electric piano demo dancing.

As you can see Caleb was very excited to receive his baby blessing! His father gave him a wonderful blessing on Aug. 2nd and we of course had our usual Costco after party with family to celebrate the event :)

With the new addition of our sweet Caleb, I decided that it was time to take some family pictures. My fabulous cousin Natalie took these at Murray park and got some great shots! Lucky for us, she was very patient and understanding in trying to get 3 little boys to look pleasant at the same time. Needless to say we're glad we live in this digital era and could take a ton of shots and find the couple that turned out :)

You'd never know that these two precious boys pound on each other daily.

All My Babies

Please meet my 3 babies...Zekie, Isaac and Caleb. No this is not a posed picture...Isaac and Zekie decided that Caleb shouldn't get to have all the fun (and attention) and apparently wanted to remind me that they are still my babies too :) It's true; they are all still in diapers and sucking binkies. A big THANK YOU to all of our family and friends who have helped us take care of our baby boys!

The BrotherHood Initiation

Zekes and Squeaks couldn't be more pleased to be big brothers. They LOVE to say HI to Caleb and give him "nice touches" which includes soft hugs and kisses from Zekie and firm whacks to the face and head bonks from Isaac. It really is Squeaks rough n tough way of saying I Love You.

Zekie is very good at letting us know that Caleb is "tiny, tiny, tiny." :)

Happy Mother's Day

Caleb's coming home from the hospital tomorrow...I couldn't ask for a better Mother's Day gift :)

Caleb Nicholas Bachman has Arrived!

Weighing in at a very respectful 6 lbs 13 ounces, Caleb arrived at nearly midnight on May 2nd. He was so excited to get here that he blew a tiny hole in his lungs and ended up in the NICU, but luckily he's recoving quickly and will be out very soon. He's been doing a fabulous job at all his feedings, which is his big ticket out...so things are looking very good. The update on him as of today is that they're hooking him up with some jaundice lights, he's graduated to 3 breastfeedings a day, and they think he may have a tiny heart murmer, but probably not. The heart doc's checking him out and will let us know by tomorrow. He is very sweet, handsome and very curious about this new world we've brought him into. We're soo excited to add another fun little boy to the fam!
